What does Uniquo check during scaffold inspection?
During scaffold inspection, Uniquo conducts a detailed safety and structural assessment to ensure the scaffold is safe for use and compliant with applicable safety practices in India.
Our inspection typically includes checking the overall structural stability of the scaffold, including proper assembly, alignment, and bracing. We verify that all components such as standards, ledgers, transoms, couplers, and base plates are correctly installed and in good condition.
We also assess working platforms for safe access, proper decking, anti-slip conditions, and adequate width. Guardrails, mid-rails, and toe boards are inspected to ensure fall protection is in place. Load-bearing capacity and distribution are reviewed to confirm the scaffold is not overloaded.
In addition, we check the foundation and base support for stability, including the use of sole plates and proper ground conditions. Any signs of corrosion, damage, loose fittings, or unauthorized modifications are identified and reported.
Finally, we ensure safe access arrangements such as ladders or stair towers are properly installed and that the scaffold complies with relevant Indian safety standards and site-specific requirements.
