Question 02
What NDT methods does Uniquo provide?
Uniquo offers a wide range of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods to detect defects and ensure the safety and reliability of industrial equipment and structures without causing damage.
Our NDT services include:
- Visual Testing (VT) – Basic inspection to identify surface defects, corrosion, and damage
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT) – Detects internal flaws, thickness measurement, and material integrity
- Radiographic Testing (RT) – Identifies internal defects in welds and components using X-ray or Gamma rays
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT) – Detects surface and near-surface cracks in ferromagnetic materials
- Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT) – Identifies surface cracks and discontinuities in non-porous materials
- Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM) – Measures material thickness and corrosion levels
- Eddy Current Testing (ECT) – Detects surface defects and material variations in conductive materials
- Leak Testing – Identifies leakage in pressure vessels, pipelines, and tanks
Uniquo conducts NDT services in accordance with applicable requirements under the Factories Act, 1948,
standards from the Bureau of Indian Standards, and relevant industry codes such as American Society for
Testing and Materials and American Society of Mechanical Engineers where applicable.
These testing
methods help industries detect defects early, prevent failures, ensure compliance, and maintain operational
safety.
