Question 16

How long does a pullout test take to perform?

The duration of a pullout test depends on factors such as the type of anchor, test load, site conditions, and the number of anchors to be tested.

In general, a single pullout test in the Indian construction and infrastructure sector typically takes 30 minutes to 1 hour per anchor, including setup, load application, measurement, and completion of the test. For chemical anchors, additional time may be required to account for curing conditions before testing can begin.

On large projects such as buildings, bridges, metro works, or industrial installations, the overall duration will also depend on the total number of anchors selected for sampling and site accessibility.

At Uniquo, we plan and execute pullout testing efficiently to minimize site disruption while ensuring accurate results, compliance with applicable standards, and timely reporting for construction projects across India.
